Multiple Stages of Filtration Ensures Protection
The Club@ WaterSystems 0.5 micron cartridge is designed for highly effective filtration of water ensuring
that the influent water passes through the multiple stages of filtration.
lnitially, the multi-stage pre-filter is made of efficient polypropylene fiber layers which mechanically filters
the water. Larger particles are trapped in the outer layers and fine particles are withheld by the inner
layers providing excellent dirt holding capacity and longer filter life.
Then, the activated carbon block provides chemical reduction filtration. lts ultra-high efficiency is
especially designed for the reduction of harmful trihalomethanes (TTHMs), pesticides, and herbicides.
The high-quality activated carbon also reduces volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), critical inorganics, and
lead. The carbon block performs extremely well to reduce chlorine taste and odor.
This 0.5 micron carbon block filter has the capacity of cyst reduction greater than 99.9%. Therefore, cysts
such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia Lamblia are effectively reduced.
Note: The cartridge is to be replaced every 1,000 gallons or once a year, whichever comes first, depending on the conditions of use.
